New member Jessica Wan presented her bio at the club's July 10 meeting.
She was born in Montreal, but spent her childhood and teenage years in Mauritius, a small island located in the middle of the Indian ocean. When she was sixteen, she moved back to Montreal for her studies, graduating in 2010 from Concordia University with a B.Comm in accounting. She then decided to further her education and applied to become an chartered accountant; she passed the national CA exam in 2012. In 2014, she moved to Red Deer, Alberta to continue her career with BDO Canada LLP, and in 2016 she transferred to Salmon Arm!
