The Voice of the Shuswap is Salmon Arm and the Shuswap's very own radio station. Located at 93.7 FM and on the Internet, it is a volunteer driven service that focuses on local programming and draws on the talents and skills of local community members. It started broadcasting in late 2012. Warren Bell, our speaker on Monday 28 August, explained that "CKVS-FM 93.7 broadcasts programming which is different in nature and content from that broadcast on commercial radio".
