Seen here with presenter Isabel Reinertson, Rotarian Lonnie Karpick is all smiles as he receives a Paul Harris Fellowship Recognition for  being chosen our club's most outstanding Rotarian for 2020-2021.

Nominators Patrick Webb and Colleen Fennel  stated: "This year's recipient represents a true Rotarian: dependable, willing to do anything at any time for the club, and is someone who can be held up as a prime example of how to be an outstanding member.

Lonnie Karpick has been a Rotarian for many years, as well as a volunteer for many other organizations, both locally here in Salmon Arm as well as in other communities.

He volunteered at the Wine Festival, the Barn Dance, and the Food Drive, and diligently promoted the Track Project. He took on so many roles for the Flag Project; being part of the committee as well as assembling the flags, organizing the production of the stakes, always signing up to do both
commercial and residential routes and even did the driving around to correct any problems that would come up.

In addition to all of this he was an outstanding volunteer at the COVID Vaccination clinic, and is  also a mainstay at the Curling Rink, also taking on many jobs."

We are very pleased to recognize Lonnie Karpick as the 2021 Paul Harris Award  club recipient.
