These Belize school children are thrilled with their new school building at St Michael's Anglican School in Pomona.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Columbia Center Rotary in Kennewick, Washington, the three classroom building was finally finished this year after four years of struggle. In Rotary year 2018-2019, Columbia Center Rotary applied for a Global Grant to build this school. Our Rotary club contributed $2000 US to the project. There were many setbacks due to Covid, but the school is now complete and the Rotary Foundation has signed off on the Global Grant.
