Robin Hooper from the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society spoke to the club on Monday about the society and the invasive species prevalent in the Columbia Shuswap Region. She identified many invasive plant and animal species in our area and discussed their impacts on the environment, recreation, wildlife and domestic animals, and food production.
