Dalene Haslock, Manager of JoeAnna's House in Kelowna, spoke to us on Monday 26 October. During  a slide presentation of the building's construction and refurbishment, she gave a verbal account of the house and how it works.

Within walking distance of Kelowna General Hospital, JoeAnna's House is intended for out-of-town families of patients in KGH. There are 20 hotel-style guest rooms, a family kitchen and common area, outdoor areas, kids’ play area, a work-out facility, and laundry.  Since it opened in the fall of 2019, it has held 1049 room-nights.  Five Salmon Arm families have stayed there. The cost is $28 per night.
