Following her talk to the club on Monday, Mary Lou received congratulations from club members for an outstanding presentation on her country of Belgium and her year in Canada. She covered the geography, history, and politics of her home country, and introduced the club to her family, home, school and city. She has had a wonderful year in Canada meeting new friends and experiencing many firsts. She feels she has grown and learned a lot in her year with us. Mary Lou leaves us on July 27 for a bus tour of the US with other exchange students. She flies home to Belgium in early August.
