Thursday 20 June saw the unveiling of the refurbished Marine Peace Park sign . Salmon Arm's three Rotary clubs worked together to create a new sign and to revitalize the garden at the base of the sign. Attending the ceremony, from left to right, were Shawn Bird (Shuswap Rotary Club), Barry Wilson (Daybreak Rotary Club), Rotary District Governor Sherry Chamberlain, Mayor Alan Harrison, and Christina Lutterman ( Rotary Club of Salmon Arm).
Dr. Brian Ayotte, one of the founding members of the Peace Park gave a short history of its development.
The crowd of Rotarians and well wishers enjoyed a BBQ and fellowship before and after the unveiling.
