Shuswap Trail Alliance member Sutra presented a program about his involvement with trail maintenance and repair in Patagonia's Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. The fragility of this remote area is being destroyed by thousands of enthusiastic hikers from all over the world. Sutra and the Shuswap Trail Alliance are teaching the Chilean trail overseers how to properly care for the trail, which includes repair of existing trail and building new trails to overcome the damaging erosion.
